Chasing the Golden Hour
As the July heat finally begins to retreat, we find ourselves looking forward to those quiet, amber-tinted moments at the end of the day.
There is something incredibly grounding about that specific time in mid-summer when the shadows stretch long across the grass and the air loses its heavy midday sting.
For us, these evenings are the best part of the day. It is when the world seems to slow down just enough for us to truly notice our dogs.
Finding Calm in the Twilight
We have noticed that as the sun dips lower, our pups seem to settle into a different rhythm, moving from frantic summer energy to a much gentler pace.
It is the perfect time for a slow stroll around the neighborhood or just sitting on the porch watching the fireflies begin to dance. We love preparing for these moments by picking out something comfortable and light, like one of our favorite cotton dog bandanas, to keep them feeling cool while still looking their best.
During these twilight hours, we try to focus on a few simple rituals:
